STEP MODEL

CONCRETE PAN STEP: Designed for easy masonry cladding. Has pre drilled holes for reinforcement of the staircase and a concrete ready pan.

WOODEN STAIR STEP Designed for easy wood cladding. Has pre drilled holes for attaching wood and pre drilled holes for reinforcement of the staircase.

ANTI-SLIP STEP Designed for commercial/industrial settings. Has raised ridges that prevent slipping and pre drilled holes for reinforcement of the staircase.

MEASURING FOR YOUR NEW STEPS:

Determine the number of steps you will need:

The riser is the vertical part of the step

Measure the distance in inches between the floor and the bottom of the door or platform where the staircase will begin.

Divide that height by the intended riser height (7", 7.25", 7.5", 7.75" or 8"*)

EXAMPLE: The distance between the floor and the bottom of the door is 94". Let's say I have chosen a riser height of 7.75".

94" divided by 7.75" = 12

The number of risers I would need would be 12
The number of steps I would need would be 11

Determine the depth of the steps you will need:

Measure the distance in inches between the building/platform and where the staircase should end.

Subtract 2" because the top riser protrudes 2" forward.

PLEASE NOTE: Any 9" step must be clad with a minimum of 10" wide material to meet regulations

* PLEASE NOTE: If you intend to use 2 1/2" bricks for cladding, you must order a step with an 8" riser
